Back to the Super

To set up the stage for the live-action sequences of my short animation that I already presented in the three previous posts, I had to provide a considerable amount of drawn pages. Each page had to feature a different type of superhero concept with the parody being the unifying element in all of them.
Eventually, I ended up with a helluva lot of characters. Some of them will be able to make their way to the screen and obtain their 15 ... seconds of fame. But others, lots of others won't be that lucky. Here's why I decided to clean up and color a couple of my favorite sketches and put them in the spotlight through Blogger. I hope you like 'em...

ICS Preview - Part One

Meet Uli. He plays the leading part in my latest short animation called I Can See. The less-than-three-minute-long flick is inspired by Johnny Nash's greatest hit "I Can See Clearly Now" and tells the story of a drawing trying to escape from its creator.
